Good practices in gender equality

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), assesses the quality, impact and visibility of scientific journals, and provides guidelines for good practices in gender equality that the Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública progressively apply in its publications as follows:

• A minimum of 40% of women in the joint composition of the management bodies, including the editorial secretariat, the editorial board, the editorial committee and the advisory board.
• A minimum of 40% of women as reviewers of papers submitted to the journal.
• Specific recommendations for the use of INCLUSIVE LANGUAGE in scientific articles.
• Full names of all authors.
• Reporting on whether the data sources of the published research take into account sex  differences.
