Liderazgo femenino para una Administración pública innovadora

El presente artículo se centra en las nuevas formas de liderazgo que demanda la Administración pública para ser capaz de abordar los actuales problemas complejos desde el prisma de la colaboración y la innovación y con un enfoque de género. Así, partiendo del análisis de la posición que actualmente ocupan las mujeres en las Administraciones públicas a nivel global y en España, se profundiza en las diferencias entre el liderazgo ejercido por mujeres y hombres, y de qué forma sus actitudes hacia la innovación y forma de gestionar encajan con los retos actuales. Finalmente, se contrastan las principales claves obtenidas del análisis teórico previo con la visión de cinco mujeres directivas públicas españolas, a las que se entrevista en profundidad. Las conclusiones del estudio se centran en las nuevas tendencias del liderazgo femenino dentro del sector público, caracterizado por habilidades “blandas” especialmente valiosas para la innovación, así como por la presencia de redes de apoyo entre mujeres que resultan fundamentales para los objetivos de promoción y visibilidad.
