Some thoughts on the application to local public employment of the sixth transitional provision of Royal Decree-law 6/2023, of december 19, which approves urgent measures for the execution of the recovery, transformation and resilience plan in matters of public service of justice, public function, local regime and patronage

Abstract

Objectives: To assess the impact that the application of the new levels of destination allowances regulated by the sixth transitory provision of Royal Decree-Law 6/2023 will have on local administrations. Methodology: Analysis of the regulations governing the subject, as well as a study of the documentation and jurisprudence affecting the main aspects raised. Results: The compulsory application of said application is accredited, notwithstanding the fact that it does not necessarily imply an increase in remuneration associated with job positions. Conclusions: The need for the application of the destination levels resulting from the standard assessed to local administrations is confirmed, with the need for the organizational repercussions that it implies and ways of application are proposed.
