The Documentación Administrativa (DA) jounal publishes original works on issues related to public employment with a multidisciplinary nature, especially in social sciences that contribute to the understanding of the journal's purpose: Law, Administration Science, Political Science, Public Management, Sociology and Economy.
Documentación Administrativa publishes both academic papers and contributions from public administration professionals that serve to advance public administration.
Documentación Administrativa accepts for review and possible publication scientific studies, research experiences and cases, chronicles and book reviews, written in Spanish and/or English (with the possibility of publishing both languages when submitted). Manuscripts must be original and must not have been published or be in the process of evaluation in any other scientific journal or media.
Regarding originality and presentation, the following aspects should be taken into account:
- Completely original, valuable confirmation, repetition of known results.
Currentness and novelty. Relevance in its double aspect of usefulness (applicability of the results for the resolution of specific problems) and significance (advancement of scientific knowledge). - Reliability and scientific validity. That is, proven methodological quality.
- Presentation: good writing (clarity, brevity, precision), good organisation (logical coherence) and good material presentation.
Submission of manuscripts to the journal for publication implies acceptance of all the conditions specified in the Publishing Guidelines and Ethical Principles. The Editorial Board of the journal is not responsible for the results, statements, opinions and points of view held by the authors in their different forms and modalities of intervention in the journal.
The following points will also be taken into account:
- Authorship, contributions and acknowledgements. The authors must have participated sufficiently in the work, assume responsibility for at least one of the parts that make up the work, identify those responsible for each of the other parts and have confidence in the ability and integrity of those with whom they share authorship.
- Contributors who have contributed in any way to the preparation of the manuscript, but whose collaboration does not justify authorship, may appear in the Acknowledgements section.
- All natural or legal persons mentioned in this section must be aware of and consent to this mention, and the authors will be responsible for the management of this procedure.
Copyright. Documentación Administrativa adheres to the Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial 4.0 Internacional (CC-BY-NC) licence, which means that the authors maintain their copyright and do not allow the commercial use of the original work or any possible derivative works, the distribution of which must be made under a licence equal to that which regulates the original work, respecting the authorship and reference of the journal, which must always be cited, allowing its dissemination through open access systems and the use of the contents by the international scientific community and the rest of society.
Conflict of interest. Authors must declare any possible conflicts of professional, personal, financial or any other kind of interest that could influence the content of the work. In the event that the manuscript or part of its content has been previously published in any media, the Editorial Committee of the journal must be informed, providing a copy of what has been published.
Funding. In the event that the work has received partial or total funding from any public or private institution, this should be stated both in the cover letter and in the text of the manuscript.
Permission to reproduce published material. It is the responsibility of the authors to obtain all necessary permissions for the reproduction of any material protected by copyright or reproduction rights.
