Editorial policy

Gestión y Análisis de Políticas Públicas is a scientific journal whose aim is to promote theoretical and empirical analyses on public management and administration and on public policies in any sector. To this end, Gestión y Análisis de Políticas Públicas publishes both academic papers and contributions from public administration professionals that serve to advance public administration. Gestión y Análisis de Políticas Públicas accepts for review and possible publication scientific studies, research experiences and cases and book reviews, written in Spanish and/or English (with the possibility of publishing both languages when submitted). Manuscripts must be original and must not have been published or be in the process of evaluation in any other scientific journal or media.

Regarding originality and presentation, the following aspects should be taken into account:

Currentness and novelty. Relevance in its double aspect of usefulness (applicability of the results for the resolution of specific problems) and significance (advancement of scientific knowledge).
  • Reliability and scientific validity. That is, proven methodological quality.
  • Presentation: good writing (clarity, brevity, precision), good organisation (logical coherence) and good material presentation.
