In this interview, we speak with Manuel Pastor Sainz-Pardo, Director of the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), about several issues that have formed the backbone of his professional career, which has always been linked to public administration and the training of public employees. Throughout the following pages, we will focus on the mission and future vision of INAP as a public service institution and organization in four major areas of activity: a) Learning, training, and development of public employees; b) Selection of civil servants within the framework of new processes and paradigm shifts in Public Administration and Management; c) Research and knowledge management; d) The future of Spanish Public Administrations in the digital age.
