Environment as global discourse: definition of environmental problems and challenges for the public policies

The definition of «environment» and «environmental problems» as well as the policy approaches have dramatically changed from the decade of the sixties. In this work the evolution of environmental problems and policies are identified and analyzed in the context of its growing social importance as a global narrative. This work concludes characterizing and analyzing the current situation as environmental transition in regard to new approaches and management as well as to key societal issues as energy.Downloads
